Dr. Hossam Albassiouny

Dr. Albassiouny is a licensed physical therapist. He graduated from Cairo University with a master’s degree and completed his doctorate in physical therapy (DPT) from Dominican College. Since 2011, Hossam has been practicing physical therapy.

He’s very passionate about musculoskeletal, spine, and sports-related conditions. He specializes in physical therapy management for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, orofacial pain, and upper cervical dysfunction. Hossam also studied manual osteopathy for 3 years.

Dr. Albassiouny treats patients for multiple concerns including contusions, muscle strains, tendinitis, spine deformities, jaw pains, cervicogenic headaches, and vestibular rehabilitation.

Dr. Albassiouny offers a comforting and relaxed environment for all patients who receive care from him. Hossam prides himself on his ability to aid the patient physically, accommodating for the patient’s immediate concerns and pains.

Vicki Buchanan

Vicki Buchanan, PT, FMSK attended the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1986. Vicki founded Regional Physical Therapy in 1993. She is an outpatient general orthopedics therapist and has over 30 years of experience. She is ASTYM certified, dry needling trained, and kinesiotape trained. She is an APTA member and currently serves on the APTA board of directors. Vicki has completed her Fellowship of Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography. Her practice won Practice of the Year award for contributions to society at 2018 Hands-On Diagnostic Annual Symposium.

Dr. Kristopher Davis

Kristopher Davis completed his Doctorate degree at Thomas Jefferson University in 2018. Kris joined Daniel B. Neff Physical Therapy in Spring 2018, where he spent 16 weeks learning under the tutelage of Dr. Neff, Dr. Greiner, and Dr. Soltys. Kris has been extensively trained in manual therapy techniques, such as spinal and joint mobilizations, to treat a host of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions.

Originally from Doylestown, PA, Kris graduated from Central Bucks East High School in Bucks County in 2011. Kris went on to attend Elizabethtown College where he earned a B.S. in Biology and captained both the Men’s Soccer and Baseball teams. This experience as a former collegiate athlete has allowed Kris a unique perspective of understanding the physical and mental demands of performing at a high level. Dr. Davis uses his experience and extensive manual therapy skills to assist the general and athletic populations in alleviating musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, such as low back pain, neck/shoulder pain, and vertigo/vestibular issues.

Dr. Jonathan Goodman

Jon grew up in Salem, Utah. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Utah. He is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. Jon is passionate about treating neck, jaw, concussion, orthopedic and sport injuries with a Fellowship in musculoskeletal.

Jon enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and getting outdoors at any chance he gets.

Dr. Lisa Griffin

University of Texas at Austin

Lisa Griffin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education. Her research interests are in the area of neuromuscular control. Current studies involve investigating neuromuscular changes during fatigue, aging, subacromial shoulder pain and peripheral neuropathy. She has expertise in single motor unit recording with intramuscular fine-wire electrodes and in the design of functional electrical stimulation systems. Dr. Griffin is the Editor-in-Chief for the Translational Journal of the American College of Sports Medicine (TJACSM), Associate Editor-in-Chief for Applied Sciences for Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise (MSSE) and has reviewed grants for the DoD and NIH for 10 years.

Dr. Ryan Hamilton

KORT Physical Therapy & Diagnostics

Ryan is from Elizabethtown, KY, and graduated from Elizabethtown High School. He attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2011. He attended Bellarmine University, where he graduated with his doctorate of physical therapy in 2013. He is a graduate of Select Medical’s orthopedic residency program and obtained his orthopedic certified specialist credential in 2020. He completed his certification in orthopedic manual therapy (COMT) in 2024.

He is currently completing a residency in electrodiagnostics and fellowship in musculoskeletal ultrasound with Hands-On Diagnostics. He has experience in inpatient care, home health, sports and conditioning and outpatient care. His clinical interests include all orthopedics and sports injuries. He is certified in dry needling and a credentialed clinical instructor through the American physical therapy association (APTA). In his spare time, he enjoys watching UK basketball and spending time with his wife, children and dogs.

Dr. Jennifer Hauskey

Catalyst Physical Therapy & Diagnostics

Dr. Hauskey is a Physical Therapist and is Board Certified in Clinical Electrophysiology. Dr. Hauskey has seen or treated nearly every type of physical therapy needed, ranging from neuromuscular complications to vestibular disorder to orthopedic injuries.

Originally from the Chicago area, Dr. Hauskey received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Central Arkansas in 2013, which is ranked in the top 45 of all 237 DPT programs in the U.S. by US News and World Report for 2020.

Dr. Hauskey started studying health and medicine at Mississippi State University, playing D1 college volleyball for the Bulldogs at the same time. She continued her studies at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), completing undergraduate and graduate studies. While at UCA, she helped lead the 2009 Sugar Bear volleyball team to a 21-3 record and an undefeated season in the Southland Conference, and she completed clinical internships in Arlington Heights, IL; Springdale, AR; and Conway, AR.

After graduating, Dr. Hauskey started practicing physical therapy for two years at Body Owners Physical Therapy in Key West, FL. She moved to One-to-One Physical Therapy and Diagnostics in Delray Beach, FL, eventually becoming the Clinical Director of multiple offices as well as VP of Operations of Diagnostics for the company.

Annie Joseph

Annie Joseph has been practicing in the NY area for the past 14 years. She completed her undergrad education at a world class medical college. She went on to get a post graduate diploma at the All lndia Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She went on to get her Masters’ in Physical therapy from Arkansas State University.

Over the course of her career she has experience working in acute, subacute and outpatient settings treating multiple injuries and degenerative conditions. She has a vast experience working with athletes including college and high school level sports.

She is certified in NDT level I and II. She is also certified in kinesiotaping for pain management and to facilitate biomechanically appropriate joint movement. She has worked as an Adjunct staff at Stony Brook University and feels very strongly about mentoring the coming generation of students.

Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos

Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos, DPT, MD, PhD, DSc, ECS, is board certified in clinical electrophysiology with over 35 years of clinical experience. He is the co-founder of Hands-On Companies and a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor for Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. He is a past member of SACE (Specialization Academy of Content Experts) for the ABPTS examination board on electrophysiology, and a past elected member of the Executive Committee of the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology of APTA.

He is the editor of the Diagnostic Section of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, and the author or co-author of numerous books, articles, and research papers related to his fields of expertise.

Dr. Ramona von Leden

University of Texas at Austin

Ramona was a postdoctoral fellow in the Noble-Haeusslein lab from 2017-2020. While a part of the lab, she investigated mechanisms of inflammation as therapeutic targets for improved outcomes from neurotrauma. In 2019, she was awarded a F32 Postdoctoral National Research Service Award (NRSA) from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). She received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience in 2017 from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where she was awarded an F31 Predoctoral NRSA from NINDS for her work on age-related alterations to microglial activation, glucose uptake, and functional recovery from spinal cord injury. Prior to her graduate work, she received her B.S. in Psychology from Brown University and was a research associate at the UC Davis School of Medicine. She has published peer reviewed articles on in vivo and in vitro models of trauma and neuroinflammation, the use of positron emission tomography imaging for diagnostic and prognostic purposes, and animal models of autism spectrum disorders. She has served in an elected position as the newsletter officer for the Training, Education and Mentorship committe of the National Neurotrauma Society, and is a member of the Editorial Board for Neurotrauma for Frontiers in Neuroscience.

Ramona is currently the Director of Research for Neufit, an Austin start up company that has developed an advanced direct current electrical stimulation device called the Neubie. This device is used to stimulate the nervous system for rehabilitation and recovery. In her role at Neufit, Ramona develops and oversees clinical trials to investigate how the Neubie can improve outcomes from a variety of neurological disease states, including multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal cord injury, and neuropathic pain.

Dr. Nancy Sara Mansell

Dr. Mansell completed her undergraduate degree at Penn State and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the Army/Baylor Program. She served in the Army until 2011 and during her time was deployed to Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division. Her interest in EDX began in 2013 and with RMU ENMG training and help from many mentors, she earned her ECS in 2016.

Her EDX laboratory is accredited by FELA, and she performs EDX in rural communities on the picturesque Olympic Peninsula in the Puget Sound. She is the Nominating Chair and Education Committee Chair for the EDX SIG, serves as a mentor for AACE and has presented at multiple RMU ENMG Symposiums. She is inspired and appreciative by all that have come before her and strives to serve the EDX community in the years to come.

When not performing EDX, you can find her running in the streets of Seattle (rain or shine).

Dr. Bart McDonald

Bart McDonald, PT, MPT, ECS, FMSK, is the owner and founder of Superior Physical Therapy and Diagnostic Solutions in Idaho.

Bart graduated with his Master’s of Physical Therapy from Emory University School of Medicine in 2000. He opened his first outpatient clinic in 2004 and Superior Physical Therapy has since grown to seven clinics across Southeastern Idaho. After earning his ABPTS certification in Clinical Electrophysiologic Testing (ECS) in 2020, Bart created Diagnostic Solutions, a group that performs electrodiagnostic (EMG) and musculoskeletal ultrasound testing. Diagnostic Solutions performs diagnostic tests for physical therapy clinics, and physician offices.

Additionally, he serves as a faculty member and mentor for MSKUS for HODS/AAMU, serves as the Vice Chair of Neuro Musculoskeletal Ultrasound SIG, and is the President of the HODS Business Advisory Board. He is passionate about building the PT profession to become the musculoskeletal primary care providers, accurately finding the true diagnosis for each patient, and changing lives.

Bart grew up in Nampa, Idaho, is married and has three children and two grandchildren. When he’s not working, he is spending time with his family, surfing glacier lakes in Idaho, or downhill skiing.

Dr. Mohini Rawat

Dr. Mohini Rawat, DPT, MS, ECS, OCS, RMSK is co-founder and president of American Academy of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. She is Fellowship director of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound program at Hands-On Diagnostics. She is board certified in Clinical Electrophysiology and Orthopaedics by American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and in Musculoskeletal Sonography by Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement.

She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from MGH institute of Health Professions in Boston and her Masters in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California. She is faculty for courses in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and clinical electrophysiology in PT program and other continuing education courses. She has mentored hundreds of clinicians and has reviewed thousands of ultrasound studies. Dr. Rawat is a contributing author and wrote chapters on imaging in books. She has published articles and presented numerous musculoskeletal ultrasound courses, webinars and lectures in multiple professional conferences and organizations including the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting. She is the chair of the Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasound Special Interest Group and holds other elected positions in American Physical Therapy Association.

She is Editor-in-chief of Journal of Clinical Electrophysiology and Wound Management.

She is editor of a textbook in musculoskeletal ultrasound called Atlas of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Extremities.

Dr. Konstantine Rizopoulos

Dr. Rizopoulos, PT, DPT, RMSK, APCA, is board certified in Musculoskeletal Sonography. He has over 35 years of clinical experience and also holds a doctoral degree with a focus on business administration, marketing, PR, and management. He co-founded and successfully established and managed the Hands-On Companies, a consortium of companies in the areas of Physical Therapy, Diagnostic Testing, and Education.

During his extensive experience in diagnostic testing and manual therapy, Dr. Rizopoulos has treated more than 150,000 patients over the last 35 years, and performed thousands of ultrasound diagnostic tests.

He has also co-authored several books with Dr. Kostopoulos, and numerous articles for professional journals.

Garrett Salpeter

Founder NeuFit

Known as “The Health Engineer,” Garrett has taken his training in Engineering and Neuroscience and used it to create NeuFit. He first became passionate about the human body during his time as a hockey player, when he had numerous injuries and was frustrated with the traditional ways of addressing them.

After he was introduced to functional neurology and used that to help himself avoid a surgery, he was elated to know that there was a better way and felt called to share this neurology-based approach with the world.

By combining next-generation electrical stimulation and protocols from functional neurology, NeuFit has helped people accelerate recovery from all sorts of injuries and surgeries and help people reach their fitness goals faster than they ever thought possible. The work has helped everyone from professional athletes looking to get back on the field to paralyzed people working to move again.

Now practitioners all over the country are adding the technology into their medical practices, physical therapy clinics, and fitness facilities. He is also the best selling author of the book “The NeuFit Method.”

Dr. Adam Soltys

Neff Physical Therapy & Diagnostics

Adam P. Soltys graduated with his Doctorate degree from Lebanon Valley College in 2017. Prior to graduation, Adam spent 16 weeks at Daniel B. Neff Physical Therapy for his final clinical rotation, where he learned under the tutelage of Dr. Greiner and Dr. Neff. Adam has been trained extensively in a spinal mobilization based treatment philosophy, and brings experience working with all patient populations from his various clinical rotations and personal experiences. Adam’s training has led him to become very proficient in the treatment of a host of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders, including low back pain, neck pain, and vertigo/vestibular dysfunction.

Originally from Ephrata PA, Adam graduated from Pine Grove Area High School in Schuylkill county in 2011, where he served as captain of the football team, wrestled, and played basketball. Adam went on to play football at LVC, where he was first exposed to the patient side of physical therapy in rehabilitating an injury of his own. This experience allows Adam the unique perspective of being able to better relate to athletes as well as the general population of patients and share with them what they can expect over the course of their recovery.

Josh Vance

Vance Physical Therapy & Diagnostics

Josh graduated in 2000 from California State University at Fresno with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He has pursued manual therapy and completed a long term manual therapy course in Fresno. He is owner of Vance Physical Therapy and Wellness since 2007 and began the journey of diagnostics in 2019.

Dr. Korry Wheeler

Hands-On Diagnostics Electrophysiology Residency

Korry Wheeler was born and raised in Western Wyoming, where he continues to live with his wife and three children. His father was the first physical therapist in the area and built a thriving practice that allowed Korry to be an active part of the profession from his youth. Korry served a religious mission with his church in Fresno, California before attending and graduating from Utah State University in Biology. Korry worked his way through college by managing a local golf course before receiving his pro status where he taught others how to love and play the game. While managing his father’s physical therapy practice, Korry was accepted to Rocky Mountain University of Health Sciences. He graduated with a DPT in 2014. . He was able to return to his hometown to practice. He has worked in inpatient for 5 years and outpatient for 5 years. Shortly after graduating, Korry began performing EMG/NCS testing and eventually graduated from the HODS/AACE residency before becoming a board-certified clinic electrophysiology specialist in 2022. He has recently joined HODS/AACE as a mentor and faculty for EMG/NCS certification and residency students and is assistant program director.

Korry currently works with Mountain West Orthopedics, providing EMG/NCS testing for patients in Star Valley, Wyoming and throughout Southwestern Wyoming. He played a significant role in helping to ensure that physical therapists were able to continue providing EMG/NCS testing in Wyoming. He advocates for advancing the autonomy of the physical therapy profession and has served on the 2022 practice analysis task force and an item writer for the FSBPT. He is currently serving as vice chairman of the electrodiagnostic special interest group in the academy of clinical electrophysiology and wound management in the APTA.

In his spare time, Korry enjoys fishing, golfing, and teaching.
